Yesterday we kicked off the first Performers of Morley Festival 2026 with a fascinating Penny Lecture exploring the hidden histories of London. In his Penny Lecture, blogger and author Jack Chesher shared overlooked secrets on places many of us pass every day.
It was a warm and welcoming evening, and with many new faces coming to Morley to celebrate the start of this year鈥檚 festival programme.
Next week we have two fabulous Penny Lectures – Angela Rippon CBE on her love of dance, and Johnny Harris giving a screen acting masterclass. It’s not too late to get the last tickets.
The Performers of Morley Festival runs until 28 March 2026, showcasing music, dance, drama and performance from internationally recognised artists, tutors and students.
